Since the plant’s opening, HMMA had built more than 2,660,314 vehicles. The brand’s top selling Sonata makes up 63% of total production at HMMA and while the Elantra comes in 2nd with 23% of the total production at HMMA. About 56% of the vehicles Hyundai sells in the United States are built at the Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama plant.
